Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Program Overview

College of the Rockies is situated in Cranbrook, British Columbia amidst the beautiful southeastern Rocky Mountains on the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa people. The College of the Rockies delivers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in partnership with the University of Victoria and College partners. With all fours years at the College of the Rockies, students will study at the Cranbrook main campus and graduate with a University of Victoria Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

We offer small class sizes, personalized instruction, up-to-date technology including simulation technology, inter-professional experiences, rural practice placements, great support services and professional, friendly staff who are dedicated to student success.

Each academic year, 32 students are admitted to the BSN program at College of the Rockies. After completion of semester 5 at the College, students become University of Victoria students in Cranbrook, BC and will complete all their remaining undergraduate degree requirements on site at the College.

Our program is nationally accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) and provincially recognized by the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP). A BSN degree is required by the BCCNP in order to practice as a registered nurse.
